Wah super busy at work sia~~ so many things just keep coming in~~ sigh..

Long time again never update my blog.. hee sometimes really dunno wat to say.

So many things have happen also. My whole world has sort of turned 360 degrees.

But anyway i'm glad i found him. :)

Ta Ming brought me to Marina Barrage that day! Said he saw it in the newspaper & decided to bring me there for a look. I love that place! Its beautiful! the scenery, the wind & the atmosphere. It was a great place! but guess its still nice when there's not much ppl there yet. In future its hard to tell oredi. :)

I know its useless but i wouldn't stop & i can't stop.

I dreamt of mum yesterday. She was hugging me. I felt so happy because only in the dream do i get to see her, feel her so real wif me. I wish i wouldn't wake up.
This may sound scary but i felt the strong urge to be wif her.
No, i'm not going to kill myself but if she wants me i might have to go.
Maybe its something beyond my control anymore.

Maybe because i'm not feeling well, i'm starting to imagining things..
Frankly speaking i have not been sick for a long time (touch wood)
The inflammation in my throat is quite mild but irritating. i can't stop coughing due to the itch.
I felt lethargic due to the fever so i juz lie on the mattress & start to imagine things.

Went to Orchard during lunch to collect my HP that i send for repair.

Couldn't collect as my HP wasn't ready due to unexpected corrosion in my HP motherboard, so they just make me sign a form & say that they will try their best to repair.

After that me & joyce walk over to Shaw House Isetan!

Our favourite hangout! haha! Supermarket!

I saw this cute box of biscuit & decided to get for Joyce & Yixin because it reminds me of them & also to thank them for everything they did for me.

Until i turn the box over & saw this:

Its sooo them lah! haha! Hope they like it. :)

Then i also bought a small bottle of Imo Shochu (sweet potato alcohol).

I love Imo shochu and miss it very much cos not easily found.

The lady recommended this so i buy & try. I thought the drink was red but nope its transparent like all normal shochu. Only the bottle is red in color. :)

But the taste is not bad. Not too sweet. :)

I bought the cheesy boobs too!! haha! Its cheesy mochi mini bun!

I like because its very chewy! :)

After that we went back office.

Met up with Rina & Mish for Dinner.

After Dinner as we walk back to office to finish our work, we saw this:

Haha! Lucky or not we turn out a black & white one from those mini toy machine.

Interesting part is to press the button on the belly & it will give a different expression each time u press it. Joyce got the white one & i got the black one! Haha! Ben & Wee wee!

I'm feeling terrible. Not so unhappy now but yet troubled.
I'm sorry to my frens who are concerned about me.
I also never experienced something like this before.
For the first time in my life, i dunno wat to do. I feel helpless.

Maybe because for the first time it matters to me alot.
Not that the others dun matter to me.
But somehow the feeling is different.

In the past, I have been the one taking.
That's y now i understand the difficulty of giving.

I feel troubled because i dun have an answer.
I feel helpless because i dunno wat can i do to have the answer that i wan.

Are these all excuses? Am i finding excuses?
I wish i have more ideas, more courage or even more ability.

Back from Japan trip! :)

Actually i dunno how to describe this trip experience cos my mind was full of thoughts during this trip. Mostly i did enjoy myself very much wif joyce because it was so fun travelling and exploring places together. Tokyo is really a very different place from Osaka.

Osaka is more peaceful, quiet, traditional & cheaper to eat or shop place. The people are loud but warm. And they are also more direct in their words. But i enjoy training in Osaka wif Takeuchi sensei very much. Takeuchi sensei's family is also very nice to us. :)

This time i travelled to Tokyo with joyce because the last two times i've been to Japan was at osaka. And joyce know Tokyo streets quite well so we decided to go there. It was a very fruitful trip though. Because although we only managed to train there for one day, we had a great time learning at Hanai sensei's dojo.

Hanai Sensei is a 6th Dan sensei & also a fren of meguro sensei. Thru Meguro's sensei's help, he arranged for us to train at Hanai sensei's dojo.

Hanai Sensei is the person between me & joyce. :)

Asakusa is a very nice place to go!! Must go!! There are alot of souvenirs shops there & the place is very colourful & beautiful! It is really a very interesting place to visit if you have never been there. :)

We also went to the Tsukiji Fish market. It was an eye opener for us!

We also went to Harajuku, Ikebukuro, Odaiba & shinjuku. All these places are nice. :)

Lastly we went to Yokohama. Luckily we managed to contact Saito Sensei so we decided to pay him a visit & also to visit Yokohama for the first time.

At Yokohama station. About 1hr ride from Shinjuku station.

Yokohama has been known for their chinatown so sensei brought us there for a look.

I think because Singapore is a multi-racial society & also full of chinese people so this place is only good for window shopping or juz to walk thru 2c. Sensei also says that SIN chinese food is better! haha!

Another famous place to visit in Yokohama is the Yamashita park.

The view is really vey nice.

Look at the beautiful ship parked juz rite in front of us.

Later we went eating & drinking wif sensei. Wonderful meal! :)

And oh ya! The 2nd last birthday gift i got this year is a bogu bag!!
Wat i also wanted to get! Was so super surprised and happy lah!
And the funny thing was i told joyce that i'm going to get a new bogu bag
when i go japan and then she took it out of her car and say Nah!
I'm really very happy lah! And she say that was my part 2 gift from our department!
haha! Thank you so much wonderful colleagues & frens!! i'm so super touched!

Sony K850i!! Luckily my plan expired and i could get the phone at a cheaper rate
and most importantly i needed a 3G phone so that i can use it in Japan. JUST NICE!
One day before my trip, my sis bought the phone for me!! Really super grateful to her!
Anyway i know she has alwaz dotes on me. I will appreciates her love!! :)

I can't wait to see my baby niece!! :)

I think this year has got to be the best birthday i ever had.

Not that the other birthdays were bad but this year i really receive alot alot alot alot of gifts that i really wanted & I still thought that i will only receive one of them from the hints (Haha) that i have been dropping to joyce!! hee But the best was i got everything i wanted for my birthday and more!! I'm very very touched! Everyone is so nice to me!! hee

6th May My Birthday celebrations this year:

I'm so super happy because i've got such nice frens who gave me such a fantastic gift for my birthday!! haha! Ok mostly thanks to joyce who keep receiving hints from me!!

My colleagues oso celebrated wif me and we had steamboat at suntec Joaquim buffet dinner! haha! i got snacks & a cookie monster strap. (ideas from joyce) She say that was part 1 gift so i'm looking forward to part 2! haha!

25 MORE DAYS TO GO~~

What i desperately need now is a 24hr slp non stop!! haha! My 2nd time staying over in the office this month. Its very funny that all urgent jobs always comes at the same time!!

Its seems tiring but i was glad to be packed with work. Because it leaves me no time to stop & think too much. I was frustrated, troubled and worried for the past few weeks. I'm sorry to joyce cos she has to bear wif me everyday. haha!! But she's the greatest companion one can ever have when ya down or up. Dunno about her side but think she's going to kill me soon for calling her name everyday. haha!! (that's wat i do when i'm troubled)

And luckily for our wonderful manager who is sooooooo nice, i dun mind staying everyday to finish my work for her! Just hope that she doesn't feel guilty cos its our job to finish up the work and anyway i'm really enjoying my job at the moment wif such nice people like her around! :)

Yeah!! Going to Japan soon in 2wks time!! I CAN'T WAIT. haha! Seems like eternity waiting for this trip. Me & joyce are going bonkers soon that's y we can't wait to have this break overseas. I love JPN, the food, the training(hopefully there is) and the people. And plus i can't wait to meet my frens who have returned to JPN!

I hope to contact Watanabe san who bought me shinais last time when he went to JPN on his business trip. So super grateful to this person who had supported me in my kendo trainings. but now he is permanently back in JPN so hopefully can drop him a visit to thank him. :)

Its my 3rd time going to JPN and i'm still not tired of going there more often! Haha! But sometimes i think cos its for holidays or training so i dun feel the stress. But working or staying there permanently might be a different story.

But anyway i'm looking forward to this trip! 日本~~

Even though i feel that its very selfish to you to put down your friends like that i still can't bring myself to hate you because i treasure this friendship.

I'm not afraid to say that there's alot of things i can't stand about you and i'm not a saint either but that is why true friends put up with each other and remembers the good points of each other so that we are still friends!

Nobody is perfect in this world, there will always be bad habits and faults in all of us.

We dun expect everyone to put up with our stupid ways too but we try to change for the better or we try to be understanding when our friends do the same for us!

Each time you find a problem with your friend, can you please reflect on how much your friend have done for you? If u can't find any then i'm sorry you are really just an asshole.

I'm very disappointed with your answer. If you see this maybe you'll be mad and even stop being my friend. But the friend that you owes an apology matters more to me because i know what she has done for all of us these years.

I hope that you can reflect on this seriously because you have hurt people and especially your friends.

Fuckers at the train station.

Every morning on my way to work and AMK MRT station is crowded as usual.
i went to queue up behind a row of ladies as it was too crowded.
When the train arrives, a fucker tried to cut the queue by trying to squeeze from the side.
Eventually he still couldn't get in the train as it was too crowded.
He steps back. And step on my foot!
He turns around, gave me a blank look then frown as i gave him a stare.
The first thought in my mind: "Hello r u dumb or wat?
Dun even know how to say a word of apology?"
Dumb ass!
So i said:" I've never seen balls as small as yours!"
Fucker:" Why? You've seen them before is it?"
I smiled & said:" I dun need to see them physically I know your balls are tiny enough for u to cut a ladies queue and to act dumb when you stepped on a person's foot!"
Fucker went speechless and walked away to cut another queue.

February is really a super busy month.

First is Chinese New Year. Went around collecting ang pows!! hee

Secondly, Valentine's day. haha! i made chocolates for Kiyo & he gave me this Puchi toy from Japan! Pink colour!

Thirdly, we are having a new Senior Manager! Can't wait for her to join us.

Fourth, Kato Sensei came back to Singapore & visit us!! So happy to hear his voice, i couldn't stop smiling during keiko. :)

Fifth, Saito sensei came too and we do not know it at all!! Luckily i went for training but he really gave very tough kakarikeiko that i missed but i nearly died. haha!

Sixth, i broke up with Kiyo. Eventually i did. I was sad but relieved. It wasn't that bad and i think it might be good for both of us. He felt sorry but i really enjoyed our time together so i dun blame him at all.

Looking forward to March. :)

Taiwan food displays sometimes reminds me of Japan as its always very colorful & comes in all forms of varieties. Look at this ! Its crossiant and sandwiches! Looks so appetising!

Another one of my favourite food! haha! Tried this first time in Japan and it was really nice! totally different from the ones they sell in Singapore.

Korean Drama : Thank You

Haha! Finally i bought this DVD!! Wif English subtitles at $20 only!! But now i lent it to Daphne cos i have oredi watched it on youtube. haha! Just i wanna watch the show again & to see Jang Hyuk in good quality. :)

We started to watch abit when we stayed over at Daphne's place on saturday & i cannot stop!! haha! Luckily i'm not grading on Sun but i still managed to wake up at 5am to cook rice for Gabriel!

What i like about this show is that although u know its going to make you sad, the happy & exciting parts of the show are evenly distributed throughout so u actually always had something to look forward to rather than crying throughout the whole show. And i feel they wrapped up the ending quite nicely.

Rather than expecting the same old storylines of typical korean dramas, "Thank You" makes us reflect on ourselves whether have we been appreciative of life and people around us thru a mother & her child.

Kendo grading on Sunday 16 December 2007

Chikushi Sensei came down to judge for the grading!! Super happy to see him and glad to be able to keiko with him!

Wah! Miss him sooo much since we came back from the Asean tourny. Must plan to go KL to find him one day! He's still the same humorous & passion about Kendo.

Congratulations to everyone who passed their grading & those who did well too! I'm very happy for Yixin as she really tried her very best during the grading & it was very clear too. Some people believes grading depends on luck & i think its quite true to a certain extend but i alwaz believe that if u passed based on your hard work, or if u feels that u 'luckily' passed, the most important thing at the end of the day is to train even harder after the grading. Then you really deserves the grade.

Over these few years in kendo, i have seen many people working hard or giving up in kendo. i have seen people who doesn't do so well at first but never stop trying until they achieved a sense of satisfaction in their own kendo. There are also those who started out as the 'gifted' or 'potential' ones but later gave up or just become lazy. i believe in talented people but i believe more in getting a greater sense of satisfaction if u had actually work hard for it.

I have not been blogging much after my trip back from Japan but i have put up some photos i took in Japan in my friendster so everyone can go there and see.

Basically the trip was much shorter compared to my previous trip to Japan. But this trip was as fruitful as the previous because we got to see Takeuchi Sensei!! And other great students of his who treated us wif such good hospitality we were so touched.

The best part was going there with such great friends and seniors of mine! It was definitely an enjoyable trip that i hope we would have more in future.

Of course next time must plus joyce and yixin together!
(They are so going to kill me) hee

I couldn't stop crying when i heard the news. It came as a shock to me and i really couldn't accept it when i heard the news. Even when you were missing i couldn't say your name when Sharlene ask me about the news.

Even until now i couldn't accept the fact that you are gone. I mean.. our class chalet was just like yesterday only. Even though after we graduated and went on with our own lives. The memories of the class chalet that we had will always be on my mind. That was one of the best class that i had in all my years of studying. I remembered that you even saved my dog harley when he nearly drowned. Why couldn't you save yourself? Why must you go...

I hated you for leaving because you owe us a meeting. A class gathering. A friends get together session. I hate you soo much because i really wish to be able to see you again.

What you left was a smile that i couldn't forget when i met you few months ago. I was so glad to see you because i had lost contact with you after we graduated. You promised to meet up with the class. You didn't.. and now u are gone.

Reuben i really wished that i can see you again with that big bright smile of yours that you always carry around.

Actually to be selfish on my part i wished that you were never found... because it means that i will always be hoping that one day we can see you again. Even if for a lifetime, I will carry a hope to see you again.

I know how it feels to lose someone so close and dear to you and i hope that you will comfort your parents from above because i can understand how hurt they are now.

To not able to see a person again is a very heartbreaking thing and as much as i hope i can see you again , i hope that you have left us to become an angel in heaven and helping more people from above because u have been an angel on earth for so many of us.

Me and joyce decided to go take a look and also to join in the queue for the autograpgh signing as they are quite a new group so the crowd is not so extreme. But their songs are not bad for a new group and their appearance reminds me of Beatles. haha!

But nevertheless there's always fans for every group so we still had to fought off some screaming ladies & fainting ones. haha!

So many things have happen recently. Dunno wether to feel sad or happy, Dun want to go & think bout it anymore. I'm moving house... busy busy..

So little time, so many things..

I had a dream last two weeks & it was quite similar to a dream i had yesterday. I dreamt that i was in a bus & my special someone stood behind me & and hold the metal pole that was in front of me so that i could hold his hands that were in front of me for support.

The dream that i had yesterday was similarly sweet & nice. i dreamt that somebody i like actually came to sit very close to me. I rested my back onto him & eventually we hug. it was so sweet. I know it may sounds yucky to some but i love hugs cos it carries messages beyond words. Hugs also tels a person how much you love them & how much you dun wish to let the person go. Be it friends or lovers, a hugs carries a message that shows how much someone is needed by someone.

In a nutshell: I love being protected & sheltered. :)

Cool movie! Didn't expect the suspense in the movie was sooo good. At the beginning of the show oredi shock me once. It was fun sitting beside joyce during the show as the way she tries to cover her eyes was very funny.

Its reali a C+ Detective wif A+ Quality & Suspense Show. Must watch!

The only flaw? Most of the characters inside were all HK drama actors & actress. Funny to see them in thriller.

1st September 2007 - Saturday

Yeah!! went to watch Aaron Kwok Concert!

Very nice dance moves! I have to admit this time there wasn't alot of surprises & action for this concert & alot ppl wuld ask me is he(Aaron) gay? But the concert was reali good wif his dance moves & jokes.

I'm not a die hard fan of Aaron Kwok but i juz wan to say that at least he is getting more sincere in his performance compared to the past when he seems to be juz famous for his baby boy face. People wuld also often seen him as the weakest among the four heavenly kings. But as the years go on, although i only start to idolise him after he cut the armani hair style, haha! But i also found that he really work very hard for his career.

People often wuld laugh at fans for chasing or going after their idols but for me i juz felt that i'm glad to find out more about the person when u idolise somebody. Not really a stalker but u be surprised that information starts 2come 2u when u actually idolise something or somebody! Information that never occurs to u even if its right in yur face.

His dance moves never ceased to amazed me & i feel that he is really talented. He's going into musical soon. Can't wait to see his next performance!

19 August 2007 - Sunday

Training on Sunday morning.. Feel so sleepy after last nite drinking. Surprisingly i wakes up super early the next day after i drink. Anyway muz wake up early so that i have time to do my exercises b4 training! hee.. Had a bet wif Xu Ning last nite he's can't wake up as early after last nite so he tried to prove it by waking up early & reaching the dojo as early as me. haha! But he lucky loh, got daddy to fetch him.

Partly to be there early was becos he wanted to learn the steps of kata as he is going 4grading soon. Doing kata wif him stress sia~ he's hands & legs are so long. Distance have to recalculate a few times! haha! But anyway it was fun practising together as i'm also going 4grading soon.

Today training, tough! cos my body is very tired oredi. I was practically floating around with no energy & strength. sigh.. So sleepy oso.

15th August - Wednesday

Argh!! Sprained my ankle during training. The sprain reminded me of an episode in Kenshin anime. A part whereby this guy was tricked by kenshin into moving too fast and his legs got cramped as his body was too big for his legs! haha! I need to lose weight!!

Although i wasn't being tricked by Suresh into moving too fast but in order to catch up wif his speed i was practically running more than ashi-ing. haha! The moment when i hear the "crack" sound in my ankle i juz sigh & landed my body on the ground hard. Couldn't stand up immediately but dis kind of injury was actually common 4me when i was in secondary skool basketball last time.

I would continue playing then & sometimes ended wif internal bleeding that are visible on the outside. But i know i have to be sensible bout dis so i decided to stop but feeling frustrated at myself 4being so useless. I took a rest & was determined to continue training on sat & sun. Douglas was very nice, he lent me his ankle guard & it helped alot.

18 August - Saturday

By saturday the pain was practically gone. I put on the ankle guard & went down to my ex secondary skool to play bball. It was enjoyable as there were alot of ppl who turn up today especially the seniors who graduated. Feels like old times!

At bout 12plus i head down to SKC fro training. Met Suresh, Wai kay & Joshua in the bus. I knew dat its going to be super tired 4my body 4the weekend after i added bball to my schedule but i'm trying to build up my legs so will try to perservere as much as i can.

Training was quite fun today & i enjoyed the wazas training. But the keiko part i wasn't very satisfied wif myself cos i couldn't practise much exercise properly. Worse part was at the end i still had to shiai keiko wif Damien sensei in front of everyone! so paiseh! i did too much actions. sigh..

After training we went 2meet Liyun & Mish 4karaoke. So fun singing duet wif liyun! haha! my perfect partner in singing! It was so enjoyable.

Later joyce & me went down to Boat Quay 2meet Mikeo, Xu Ning, Selina & Juline. They were out celebrating wif Juline's bday earlier on & later at night i wanted 2go 4drink so we decided to meet at boat quay. It was so fun chatting & drinking wif dem. I know i'm going 2b super tired the next day but drinking helps my body to loosen from the muscle aches & unhappiness so i like to relax & drink wif frens while chatting.

Saturday 11th Aug 2007

Went for Bball again to my ex-secondary skool. Sort of enjoying myself more in bball so decided to play more & now it seems that it became a routine 4me to go down since Kendo training is going to be every sat. hee..

BUT nowadays the kids are reali very very weak mentally. There was supposed to be 10 ppl comin down to practice bball match as they need to train for the comin competition but only 6 came and 2 of them were injured. So left wif 4. My ex bball teacher was so disappointed wif dem that she left. When we reached, the 6 of them came to us and say: "Sorry Seniors". So secondary skool. haha! Actually we were quite ok cos we were here for leisure playing but i tink most of dem did not turn up cos last week when we played wif dem they were crying when the coach scolded dem or when they juz had a light fall.

Its very interesting how we survived last time training when we even had to train till 3am in the morning during camp. Or being punished for every mistake dat we got. Anyway we have been thru wat dey are going thru now & worse times so i tink its time 4dem to learn to stand up everytime dey fall.

C'mon toughen up kids! haha!

Everyone needs help once in a while. You can't be able to know or handle everything in this world & there's nothing wrong to ask for help or finding out more.

Friends is about respecting each other. Since yur frens respect u by listening 2u first, why dun u try listening to yur frens first once in a while.

Of course it doesn't mean dat i have nvr pissed u off. Nobody is perfect. I'm not & so do u.

Sun 05 Aug

My alarm started ringing from bout 7 until 8 b4 i jumped out of bed. Starting to feel muscle aches from yesterday bball. But i promise shimiyo sensei i'll train harder so no matter wat i had to drag myself out of bed. I reach dojo at bout 9 den changed & start to do tenouchi exercises & some suburis. by the time i finished, i had 3blisters on my hand. this shows how long i had not been training hard enuf. hee..

I suddenly remembered that Ishida is coming to train today. haha! felt bit excited but oso worid dat his level & our level is so different now. But anyway trainiing was fun especially the long distance kirikaeshi brought back good memories. Had an enjoyable keiko wif Ishida & Ishii sensei who came from Malaysia. So tired. juz wanna slp. haha! we took some photos at the dojo wif Ishida & his mom.

The other photos are wif yixin & Ishida mum so the only one we had was this. haha while trying to make him stand low so that we dun look so short he purposely stood up when the photo was taken!! haha! he's only 17 and he's bout 179 loh. haha! So proud of him cos i saw him growing up in singapore when he was very small and now he has become so big & strong after return to Japan. haha! He's also smiling more loh. look at how small his eyes are when he smiles!

In the evening we took Ishida's mum out for dinner at paragon while his son went out to meet his frens. Luckily for kiyo, the situation was less tense & awkward as we couldn't speak much to Ishida mama. haha! we juz nods our head to watever dey says. haha! We were grateful to Ishida's mum cos she has always been such nice host & supporter for us when in japan & taiwan tourny. hope they'll drop by soon. haha!

At night we picked dem up from the hotel & send dem off at the airport. The least we culd do for such nice ppl. Will visit dem when we go japan next yr!! hee..

Super duper muscle pain sia~~

Fri (03Aug)
Went down to NYP for training. Training was ok for tonite. Had fun keikoing wif everyone & i tried a few wazas instructed by Shimiyo sensei. Most difficult part in kendo is to grasp the correct timing & distance. Feel so guilty whenever Shimiyo sensei ask me have i been practicing or have i tried to do wat he teaches cos its so difficult for me since i'm quite a slow learner. But i'll still try my best for him.
Hope he'll get well soon. My only reason training now even though i'm reali very tired at times are juz for him.

Felt very frustrated at time. I've got troubles dat couldn't be shared & difficulties dat couldn't be known. So luckily for me, Joyce kept me company & be my listening ear to my problems. Wanted so much to drink again after training. i know its not good to do dat but juz wanna relieve some stress once in a while by drinking. We chat till bout 3am & i slept at bout 4plus. Thanks for sending me home joyceeee!! hee.. & no kiyo does not represent me k! hee u all shld be kind to him not me cos i did nothing much. hee.. but thank you sooo much.

I woke up at 7am!!! sigh.. silly me to promise to meet the person at 8am to pass her the stuff she bought at my auction on yahoo. But anyway i got bball session at my ex-secondary skool so juz might as well get up earlier & pass it to her along the way. Going back to play bball was VERY xiong for me sia cos long time nvr play le. And actually kendo & bball very different in a way is dat when u do alot of kendo u tend to be very mentally tired but bball.. will make yur whole body ache!! I played wif the sec 2s & omg they are 11yrs younger den me loh. Me and my frens kept substituting 4each other. haha! but very fun though. Juz dat now i'm reali suffering for it. I miss the old times in secondary skool in the skool team.

After dat i went wif my family for photo shoot. We haven't had a family photo taken in studios b4 so its our very first time & its quite tiring oso cos u have to take quiite a few shots in differrnt pose & position so that we can select the best later.

Super sleepy sia.. From fri to sat not enuf slp den plus xiong bball playing for the morning den go photoshoot. I reali can't keep my eyes open oredi. Went to dinner wif kiyo & my family. Den do go hospital & see shimiyo sensei.

Shimiyo sensei looks fine & genki & he was smiling alot. i'm relieved. So happy to see him cos i reali miss him alot. Pulled kiyo along wif me so dat he can explain some japanese terms to me.

I learnt alot more bout sensei & his life & was so proud to be taught by him. my sensei is a genius! he's the smartest, strongest & nicest sensei i've ever met. i'm now more inspired to train harder.

Go home slp. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...muz wake up early tomolo. Zzzzzz

Went to Toilet den joyce called. After finish tok i put on top of the toilet paper holder. Rush out to meet Joyce. Walked away for 5mins ONLY. Realised my phone not wif me. Remembered its in the toilet. Ask Joyce to call my phone. THE PHONE IS OREDI OFF.
Cannot find oso after i go back to the toilet. sigh..

KOREAN actor Jang Hyuk is in town to woo Fann Wong - in a movie, that is.

Jang Hyuk, seen here as a surgeon in Korean TVdrama serial Thank You, will play a ballroom dancer in Dance Of The Dragon, opposite Fann Wong.

The 31-year-old , who arrived from Seoul on a Singapore Airlines flight yesterday evening, will be here for two months for the filming of Hollywood movie Dance Of The Dragon.

It marks his first English feature film since he shot to fame in Asia in Korean box-office hits like Windstruck and Volcano High.

In Dragon, he plays a ballroom dancer who comes between Fann and Jason Scott Lee, who plays a martial arts champion.

The movie will be shot and produced here by Easternlight Film Productions, the Asian production arm of Los Angeles-based Arclight Films.

At the airport, we asked Jang Hyuk if he had met Fann before. He said he hadn't, but had seen her in the movie Shanghai Nights.

'EXCITED'
The soft-spoken actor - who spoke in English - also said he was 'abit' excited about speaking English. 'Before, I haven't been speaking English,' said Jang Hyuk, who will be speaking English for the movie.

He said it was his first time in Singapore.

Jang Hyuk's inclusion will surprise many. The low-profile actor, known for his lopsided grin and rebellious-guy image, has never announced any plans to conquer Hollywood.

East West Tournament

Dunno why but on sat night i still dun feel like there is a tourny the next day. Funny thing was after we started to watch the HK drama at Daphne's house we can't stop! Slept at bout 3 loh.. Super sleepy when wake up to go SKC.

When i reach dojo, i scanned thru the list of groups & names on the wall. haha found out dat me & Derek was in the same team. Den i saw Douglas name too! The other two players were juniors & i dun reali know dem well at first but got to know each other better later in the Tourny. My mood was still ok cos i was tinkin wether we win or lose it doesn't matter cos usually dis involves luck more den skill. haha!

But Derek reali shock me today cos he keep scoring pts 4his matches. He has not trained for so long but he has not lost his skills either. Douglas was very good too cos 4his age he's scored quite a few pts on the younger players. The other two players in my team was good too because they did not anyhow hit & eveything they did was good basic cuts & hits which helped the team alot in winning.

Frankly speaking i felt bad at the beginning of the tourny cos i was still half awake & i was hoping dat if we lost we could rest!! Even when we had won in the first match by points thanks 2my team members i was basically resting when i was fighting wif Jaclyn cos i felt no purpose to get points.

It was only at the 2nd match when i was fighting with joyce & she got the first pt from me & i started to woke up. I felt very bad for not trying my best cos my team members was working so hard. So i decided to go all out for it & luckily i scored 2pts from joyce which enabled us to qualify 4the elimination round. haha i use the gedan method again. felt bad bout it.

In the elimination round, my matches were considered easy becos all thanks to my team members who scored & so i juz need to draw the matches. The memorable matches 4me would be fighting the younger morita. He's super fast & good kote player. haha so i tried using the gedan method on him so that my kote would be less targetted. My team had won only by 1pt so i die die have to draw with morita. haha! I did alot of weird swinging motion wif my shinai in order to prevent being hit. Felt so silly when Morita was juz standing there watching while i hit the air.. 0.0

Later when we proceeded to the finals & when i look at the opposite team, i realli felt dat we were going to lose. cos the other team was much younger, faster & stronger. haha! But later Douglas told me dat hopefully we can win the gold medal dis yr, i told myself i wuld try my best for dem. Our team is reali very interesting. haha! the most quiet team. We nvr talk much to each other & mostly juz ended up whispering good luck & good fight. hee..

During the finals, i was telling dem pls score pls score so that i juz need to draw cos my opponent is a very fast & strong teenage player from Waseda. haha! BUT very funny our sempo, jiho & chuken draw everything & when it was Derek's turn i was hoping a win from him. He did got the 1st pt which makes me felt abit relieved but when the time was almost up, he lost a pt so it became a draw. haha! I turn 2look at daphne, Jaclyn, Joyce & my team members & in a way i was actually laughing becos i reali appreciate these frens & seniors who supported me & i juz shouted in my heart: "Why put me in this situation again?!!!" haha!

Finally i won by a kote pt. Happy. can't wait to call my 'Grandfather'.

Haha! Soooooo Cute!! "Sir Rest!.. Sir Rest..."

Haha! Last time my fren had the same dog as dis & it alwaz like to rest after walking only a few steps. So my fren named it Rest. We added a Sir to it cos its very fierce to dogs smaller den him. Its very cute & everytime it does something wrong, it will quickly hide in the house toilet. When there's food or goodies, Rest will beg by stroking my fren's leg with its paws.

First time to Hong Kong cafe.

Recently there has been an increasing amt of HK cafe in Singapore. & most of them opens till quite late or 24 hrs. Another place for ppl who dun go home early to hang out. Went to the one at Thomson. Nice ambience. Interesting shop layout. Very Cheeena though.

The spaghetti dat joyce ordered is displayed like dis.

Me & Tani shared the crispy noodle which was also in a very interesting layout.

Super busy this whole week. just briefly summerise wat i did over the few days back with photos & description. hee

Not in order of date:

This is wat happens when u leave two soft toys alone in the office. sigh..

Tried making unagi rice & voila! hee can't wait to let my frens try! hee

My sister has a dog hostel so now i'm advertising 4her! haha!

The place is call Urban pooch & dey provide alot services like:

1)grooming for dogs
2)taking care of it while u r busy or overseas. only 1.5/hr for small dogs!!
3)cafe with delicious food for dogs & owners! (Their signature dish is cheese cake)

4)Eat & view other exotic dogs putting up at the hostel.

(Look out for some actors who oso put their dogs there!)

On Sunday, juz before going to start training, a gigantic spider went into the dojo!! and i'm very very scared of spiders! Some of the japanese kids were finding it fun & dey started to tease the spiders. Some of the japanese boys were screaming like little girls! haha! dis made Tsue sensei & japanese mama laughing so much. The mood of the training lightened so much.

But something serious happened during our kakari keiko session. Hasebe sensei was supposed 2demonstrate good kakari keiko to everyone when suddenly he fell to the ground. Later we found out that actually his achilies had snapped. I'm not very clear bout the medical terms of the condition but i know its quite serious & sensei may not be able 2do kendo at least 6mths! sigh.. Now he's lying in Mount E hospital after his surgery. Hope he recovers soon.

I tink alot of ppl like to complain about their life or blame their unhappiness on others. Why dun u try to do some self reflections b4 pointing yur finger at others.

Sometimes in life we meet wif obstacles or situations dat we dun like 2be in. But we shld alwaz look on the positive side of things b4 complaining. Think about someone who could be in a worse situation den u rather den only seeing yurself as the most unlucky person in the world.

You cannot pleased everyone but being yurself doesn't mean dat ppl have to accept yur selfish ways. When things turn ugly, u only see others at fault.

Start asking yurself truthfully how have u been treating others & yur job. What i can see from u is when u have everything u abuse it & when u dun have it u complains. And when it gets worse u juz feel like the whole world owes u for it. Den u give up because u think the whole world is against u. And u have the cheek to complain about yur situation.

Do not be afraid to ask ppl for honest answers & be willing to accept criticism or truths. But i doubt u wuld do so becos u are living in a little tiny world of yur own where only unhappiness surrounds u & everybody owes u a living.

05 July 2007 Thursday - Super sad day.

Wonder if its due to my PMS or its becos i juz found out that my fren is in trouble. He has got into something illegal. I know young ppl nowadays dun like 2b nag at or anyone persuading dem 2stop something dey feel is a small thing.

But dey dun realise Dat small things usually leads 2big things.

I'm not going to persuade him or pressure him but if he ever reads my blog, I juz wan 2tel him dun make yurself regret wat u have done in future.

Pls think bout it, as a fren i oredi felt so hurt that i culd not do anything knowing that u r in trouble. Think about how yur parents will feel. How yur Mum feels. Think about how hurt the ppl who cares about u if dey know of yur situation.

I always regard u as my younger brother & juz 2let u know that if there is ever one ting u wan me 2do 2stop u from continuing wat u r doing now, i will do it. Taking actions on my own will only create misunderstanding 4us so i wun do it. Maybe watch too much drama so can learn abit. hee~ Seriously speaking yur mum i believe wud b the most hurt & like me she wuld hope so much 2do something 4u too if she ever knows about yur situation.

So if u love yur mum, stop now b4 its too late. Remember if u r afraid of wasting $$$ i rather i pay u the $$$ & u stop loh.

If u need i'm alwaz available 2listen 2u. I'll try 2b there 4u if it can stop u from Dat. There r so much more tings to do in life den Dat. I lost my mum & i know how painful it is to regret later. I dun wish 2lose a younger brother. & yur mum dun wish 2lose her son too.
